Privacy policy
How our apps handle local data, online features, accounts, and cloud sync.
These apps are still in development. Some online features described below may change or may not be included at release. We will update this policy and the disclosures inside each app before those features are made available.
Summary
PathScribe and ArrowRhythmBlast store their core app data on your device. We may also offer optional online services such as accounts, cloud sync, leaderboards, score validation, definition updates, diagnostics, and analytics. Using an online service sends the information needed to provide it, as explained below. We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.

What is stored on your device

This information stays on your device unless you choose a feature that sends or syncs it. Deleting an app normally removes its local data. Deleting the app does not automatically delete information already submitted to an online service or stored in cloud sync. PathScribe can also write your collection to a ZIP backup that you control.
Accounts
Some online features may require an account. Depending on the sign-in system we choose, account information may include your email address, display name, an internal user ID, an identifier supplied by Apple, Google, or another sign-in provider, authentication records, and account settings. We use this information to create and secure the account, sign you in, connect your devices, and provide the online features you request.
We will identify the sign-in method and any required account fields before an account system is released. Local features that do not need an online service will remain separate from account-based features where practical.
ArrowRhythmBlast score submissions
You may choose to submit a score for a leaderboard or other online competition. A submission may include more than the final score. To validate that the result came from a legitimate playthrough, we expect to submit the complete playthrough record needed to reproduce or check the run.

Score submission is optional, but we cannot place an unvalidated score on an online leaderboard without receiving the associated playthrough record. A submitted playthrough is gameplay content and may be linked to your account or leaderboard identity. We use it to validate results, detect manipulation or cheating, maintain leaderboard integrity, and investigate disputed scores.
Optional cloud sync
We may offer account-based cloud sync for PathScribe, ArrowRhythmBlast, or both. If you enable it, the data selected for sync is copied from your device to the cloud service so it can be restored or used on your other devices.
- PathScribe: synced data may include library organisation, play state, sheets, tracks, journals, canvases, ink, settings, and other content you choose to sync.
- ArrowRhythmBlast: synced data may include profiles, progress, scores, settings, saved game state, and submitted playthroughs.
Whether imported PDF and EPUB files are included in PathScribe sync has not yet been decided. The app will tell you what will be uploaded before sync is enabled, and this policy will be updated before that feature is released.
Other optional network features
PathScribe may download definition catalogues or game-system data from sources you choose. ArrowRhythmBlast may offer online leaderboards and content updates. Either app may offer optional crash reporting or product analytics. If enabled, diagnostics may include crash logs, performance information, app and OS version, device type, and events leading up to a fault. Analytics may include interactions with app features and gameplay modes. We will describe the exact choices inside the app before collecting this information.
Purchases
Any purchase is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your payment card, billing address, or store account credentials. The store tells us only whether a purchase or subscription entitles you to the content it covers.
Diagnostics reported by Apple and Google
Separately from the options above, if you have chosen to share crash and usage diagnostics with Apple or Google in your device settings, those platforms may give us aggregate crash reports and performance statistics through App Store Connect and Google Play Console. That data reaches us in aggregate, is not linked to your identity, and is governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies. You can turn it off in your device's privacy settings.
How we use information
- Provide accounts, authentication, cloud sync, restoration, and support.
- Operate leaderboards and validate submitted scores and playthroughs.
- Protect the apps and online services from fraud, cheating, abuse, and security threats.
- Fix defects and understand how app features perform, where diagnostics or analytics are enabled.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Service providers and disclosure
Online features may rely on companies that provide hosting, databases, authentication, cloud storage, diagnostics, analytics, email, or fraud and abuse prevention. They may process information for us only to provide those services. The specific providers have not yet been selected; we will update this policy before launch when they are known. We may also disclose information when legally required or when reasonably necessary to protect users, our services, or others.
Data retention
Local app content remains on your device until you delete it or the app. Account and cloud-synced data is retained while your account or the service is active. Score submissions and their validation records may be retained while the score appears on a leaderboard and for a reasonable period afterward to protect the leaderboard from fraud or disputes. Security logs, backups, and records we must keep for legal reasons may remain for a limited additional period. Support emails are kept as long as needed to answer the request and maintain a useful record of reported issues. We will publish more specific retention periods once the online services are finalized.
Your choices, access, and deletion
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can choose not to submit scores or enable cloud sync. If we offer account creation, we will also provide a way to request deletion of the account and associated data. You may request access, correction, export, account deletion, removal of a submitted score, or help disabling an online feature by emailing support@pnpwstudios.app. We may need to verify that the request belongs to you. Some limited information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
Children's privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards for information we hold. Local content also depends on your device's security. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We will revise this policy as the account, score-validation, cloud-sync, and provider choices are finalized. When we make a change, we will update the date above and provide any additional notice required in the apps or their release notes. If a change requires consent, we will ask before the affected collection or processing begins.
